ZUMC has three Circles that meet the first Tuesday of the month Circle # 1 meets at 12:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall, Circles #3 and #4 meet at 7:30 p.m. in various homes.  The UMW organization is open to all members and attendees of the Zebulon United Methodist Church. Visitors are always welcome.

The United Methodist Women (UMW) support many causes in our congregation and the greater Zebulon community, and they reach out to international projects like the education of three girls in Haiti.   We support the relief efforts of UMCOR by making health kits and education kits to be distributed to disaster victims around the world.

The UMW sponsors a spring flea market where the community can purchase various donated items for exceptionally low prices.  This fundraising effort supports our various projects such as decorating the church for the Advent season, wreaths for the outside doors, graduation senior day, supporting with scholar ships our preschool, camperships to Methodist Camps for our youth.  We also support all Conference Special Offerings.

We support the reading program by reading suggested material on such subjects as: Leadership Development, Education for Missions, Social Action, Spiritual Growth and Nurturing for Community.  Read Books, Live Longer….Book readers live an average of almost two years longer than those who did not read at all.
